Most of this happens without you. Here is the whole process, including the parts we need from you and roughly when.

    The brief you

    A few sentences about the business: what you do, who for, what you want the site to achieve. That is the whole assignment. If you have logos, photos or copy, send them; if you don't, we work without.

    Structure

    We map the pages and decide what goes where and why: what a visitor sees first, what they need before they'll call you, and what can wait until the footer.

    Design & build

    Custom, from scratch, around your business. Not a template with your name dropped into it. Designed and built by a person, in one pass, so the design and the code don't fight each other.

    Review you

    You see the real site, not a picture of one, and send notes. Anything from "make the phone number bigger" to "this whole section is wrong." Revision rounds are included: two on Essential, three on Growth, four on Signature.

    Days 6–9 · an hour, spread over a few days
  5. 05

    Launch

    Live on your domain, with the certificate, the analytics and the search basics already handled. Then it stays that way: hosted, maintained and updated by SKAU, month after month.

    Day 7–10 · and then it's ours to keep running

Answered before you ask.

Is the $249 Setup & Launch Fee really waived?
Yes. During the current promotion, SKAU waives the complete $249 fee for your design setup, build preparation and launch. You pay only your selected monthly plan when you enroll. The regular six-month initial commitment and monthly billing still apply.
How long until my site is live?
Essential and Growth target 7–10 business days; Signature targets 10–15. The clock starts once we have what we need from you: your content, any access we require, and your go-ahead.
Am I locked into a contract?
There's a six-month initial term, and after that it's month-to-month, so you can cancel whenever you like with no fee. If you cancel during the initial term, the agreement sets an early termination fee equal to 50% of the monthly payments remaining in that term.
Do I own the website?
Your domain and your content are yours, always. The website itself is licensed to you while your subscription is active. A buyout is available on request and is handled through a separate written agreement. Without one, the site comes down when service ends.
What if I don't like the design?
You get revision rounds as part of the build: 2 on Essential, 3 on Growth, 4 on Signature. Notes are expected, not tolerated. The agreement also lets you request cancellation of the initial purchase within 15 calendar days of your first payment, provided you haven't already approved the site for launch.
What counts as an update?
Anything you'd normally email an agency about: new copy, swapped photos, a changed price, a new section, a seasonal banner. You get 30, 60 or 90 minutes a month depending on your plan.
Who is actually doing the work?
SKAU is small on purpose. The person designing and building your website is the person you talk to. No account manager in between, no work handed off to a queue.
